Do you offer a subscription program?
At the moment, we do not. We want to provide a service that you or anyone can use and pay for only when they use it.
Do I need an appointment?
We do require an appointment for a mental health condition with a Therapist or Psychiatrist. Appointments can be scheduled using the mobile app or website's self-scheduling feature.
What is the difference between a psychologist and psychiatrist?
For medication management, a patient would see a psychiatrist, and for talk therapy, a patient would see a psychologist.
A combination of talk therapy and medication management is sometimes the most effective form of treatment.
Psychiatrists and therapists can both assess a person to determine whether one or both treatment approaches are required and make recommendations based on their assessment.
Can medical forms, such as work/school excuses, be filled out?
During a visit, you can discuss with the doctor whether taking time off from work or school is part of your treatment plan.
If you require an excuse note, you may ask the doctor during your visit. If you forget to request an excuse note during your visit, send us an email and our Support Team will gladly assist you.

Your app isn't working for me. Please help!
We're sorry to hear you're having difficulties with our app. The following are some useful techniques that are quite often helpful in situations like this:
- Double check - that you are using a supported device
- Restart your device - It may seem a bit silly, but it does help clear up a number of minor issues!
-
Double check your internet connection - ensure that you are connected to a strong WiFi connection for the best possible experience.
To ensure that your connection meets our minimum requirements, perform a speed test at www.speedof.me or www.speedtest.net. To maintain a stable connection with our service, you must have a download speed of 3mbps or higher and an upload speed of 1.5mbps or higher.
If your speed results are lower than those recommended above, or if your connection is still not working, try Cellular. If your device is compatible but you can't get a good WIFI connection, you may be able to use your cellular connection. Just make sure to reboot before dialing from a cellular connection. This step is recommended in areas with good LTE/4G coverage.
- Reinstall the app if necessary. Your phone may experience a hiccup during the installation, causing the app to fail to function properly. This should be resolved by reinstalling.
If you are still unable to run the app after attempting the above solutions, please contact our Customer Support Team, they will assist you further.
Why isn't my promotion code or coupon working?
Please review the terms and conditions associated with your code for any applicable limitations. Some codes, for example, can only be used on the first visit. If you have any further questions, please contact us at support@doctorquincy.co.id.
Everything you wanted to know about Antibiotics but shy to ask
SUMMARY
Antibiotics, like all medications, have advantages and disadvantages. They can save lives when used correctly, but when used incorrectly, they can cause a variety of problems ranging from allergic reactions to side effects. Furthermore, improper antibiotic use can lead to "antibiotic resistance," which means the antibiotics may not work anymore for you when you really need them! Read on to learn more about how to become an expert on this topic:
- When to use antibiotics: Your doctor-Quincy has many years of education and experience that he or she will use to determine whether or not your problem requires an antibiotic. If they believe you have a BACTERIAL infection, they will most likely prescribe an antibiotic; however, if they believe you have a VIRAL infection, they will avoid giving you an antibiotic because it will not help and may even harm you. Most upper respiratory infections (e.g., sinusitis, ear infections) begin as a VIRAL illness in otherwise healthy people and only rarely progress to BACTERIAL infections after 1-2 weeks.
- Can Doctor-Quincy physicians assist with VIRAL infections? Without a doubt, yes! When you present with symptoms for less than a week, your doctor will assess your full story and may treat you with decongestants and anti-inflammatory medications, but he or she will avoid giving you an antibiotic during this viral phase because it does not help and may cause complications. If you have more severe symptoms, your doctor will use their best judgment to determine whether you have an early bacterial infection and thus need antibiotics.
- Antibiotics may become less effective in the future if they are overused. Antibiotic resistance means that antibiotics are becoming less effective as a result of years of overuse. Furthermore, no new antibiotics have been developed in the last ten years, so you must be cautious about how you use antibiotics! In other words, if you don't use antibiotics frequently, you (and others) may respond better to them when you really need them in the future.
- Antibiotics can occasionally cause more harm than good. Antibiotic side effects may include gastrointestinal upset, diarrhea, vaginal yeast infections, and decreased oral birth control effectiveness. Worse, you may experience an allergic reaction, which can range from a mild rash to severe life-threatening breathing difficulties and anaphylactic shock. Finally, an increasingly common risk is developing a severe form of diarrhea (called C. Dificile), which occurs when an antibiotic kills off the "good bacteria" in your gut, allowing the "bad bacteria" to grow.
- When a patient does not require an antibiotic, a doctor often spends more time with the patients. The choice of whether or not to use an antibiotic is not made lightly. When a doctor decides not to use an antibiotic, it usually means that they have given more thought to the best option for you. Your doctor has weighed the risks and benefits of treatment and asked the pertinent questions to determine the best course of action. Furthermore, there is mounting evidence in the medical community that it is prudent to take a "wait and see" approach to antibiotic use due to rising resistance and side effects, particularly in children. Ear infections, sore throats, sinus infections, and coughs can often be treated with a variety of other medications rather than antibiotics.
